Questions and Answers: Evan Hatter

Introduction:

I have lived in White County for 29 years. My lovely wife (and best friend) grew up in White County. Her family has been here for many generations. We have four wonderful, incredible, and now adult children. They are truly four of the best people I have ever known. I honestly care about the opinions and concerns of the people of White County District 2.

Why did you decide to run for this position?

I care about this community. I care about the people of White County. I want to protect this land in White County for today and future generations. Since I am currently retired, I can give this position the time and effort it deserves.

What is one thing you want to change in this office?

Transparency. I will be honest and open.

What is one thing you can do that will make a difference in the county?

I certainly hope there are many things I can do to make a positive difference in White County. The first would be to listen to the people of my district. I want to understand their positions on issues.

What is one thing you can do that will make a difference in the county?

White County is already a great place! I will always look for ways to improve the schools, help the farming community and local businesses, and attract useful new businesses. However, I STRONGLY believe that a Data Center would be a HUGE detriment for our beautiful White County. I absolutely cannot support that.

Why should anyone vote for you?

I will make informed decisions to improve the county with regards to safety, economics, and the environment. Whether someone is a Democrat, Republican, or independent, I will represent every person in my district.
